  • David Pocknell
    Principal

    David's career began in the 1960s, in the early days of what eventually became the British design industry. Over the course of his long and distinguished career David has won awards for Architecture Design, Corporate Identity, Book design and even the coveted Gold Award from the New York Art Directors Club. He was a partner at Pentagram (the designer’s design agency) in the 90s, consultant Creative Director to Conran Design Group in the 00s, President of the Chartered Society of Designers and sat on D&AD’s Management Committee. Clients include Transport for London, The City of London Corporation, BT, Jaguar, British Gas, BP, Eurotunnel and Serco. He continues to create, innovate and champion design of all kinds and all disciplines.

    As well as being passionate about design, David likes good food, loves wine and is thoroughly interested in photography and painting. When not at work he is often found working up a water colour or sketching his next landscape.

  • Mark Homer
    Architecture & interiors

    After graduating from the School of Three Dimensional Design at Kingston Polytechnic, Mark commenced his architectural career in 1979, working for an Essex based architect specialising in commercial and residential buildings.

    During the 1980s he became involved in retail design taking up team leader and managerial roles at a number of high profile London design practices, carrying out projects throughout the UK, Europe and beyond including Ukraine, Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia. In addition to tackling numerous retail projects within major department stores, shopping malls and airports, Mark has been involved in developing global retail environments for various automotive brands such as Mazda, Suzuki and Harley Davidson.

    Mark first collaborated with the studio around twenty years ago and has been engaged more recently in some of the barn conversions and listed residential projects.
